Parenting a gifted child can be thrilling, exhausting, awe-inspiring, forehead-smacking frustrating, hilarious, and sometimes… lonely. That’s why BVPAGE was created. We are a group of all-volunteer parents with a mission to support and connect gifted kids, their families, and teachers. We are here to cheer you on, prop you up, and say, “me too!” – a community where you can vent and brag, celebrate and sigh, and hopefully have fun along the way.

While most of our families have children with Gifted Education IEPs, we do NOT check them at the door. If you suspect your child is gifted, are advocating for identification, or are currently in the process, we always welcome you. Our community also includes families from all over Kansas City, including Blue Valley, Olathe, Shawnee Mission, and KC public school districts.
